Demetrius Bradley is the founder and president of Cerebrum Rehabilitation Center. A Panama and Gulf War Veteran, Bradley has served as a member of the U. S. Army Reserve, U.S. Air Force, and as a commissioned officer of the Louisiana Army National Guard.
He holds baccalaureate degrees from Louisiana State University-Shreveport
and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He also holds a master’s degree from Nations University.
From military soldier to law enforcement officer to public school teacher to convicted felon, uncontrolled and unmanaged trauma led Bradley to a life of criminal addictive and
harmful thinking/action. In his quest to overcome his criminal thinking and addictive nature, Bradley realized that rehabilitation while incarcerated was not veteran friendly, so he sought to change this narrative.
He has written programs: U.S. Military Restorative Justice Program and the
Incarcerated Veterans’ Program which both focuses on rehabilitation and reducing recidivism among military veterans. He has authored a Veterans’ Support Group Manual, “The Journey Back to Wholeness”. The Veterans’ Support group helps to heal
the broken soldier and attend to the wounds of the past. He has also developed state legislation, the Post-Conviction Veterans’ Mentor Program, beneficial to the rehabilitation and re-acculturation of the incarcerated veteran.
